UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

I would really be able to use these crates. We recently moved into a 3rd floor apartment and there are always times when I’m looking for a way to carry everything up the stairs. This would be awesome and we would be able to keep the containers contained.

I have collapsible crates built into my car, but we have increasingly been taking the husbands car grocery shopping and of course it doesn’t have anything like that. And we miss having a way to keep everything from rolling around back there!

These would be so great to keep in the trunk for loading groceries after a trip to the warehouse store…still have to pick up dome boxes, thought, for my son to do ‘construction’ (more like de-construction!).

I have been eyeing my SIL’s grocery bins from her store in Canada – these would be an awesome and even more portable option for hauling all the goods home from the store!
Janice says
These are awesome! They could be used for anything as they are so sturdy and collapsible (I like that they save on space when not in use-very practical and clever). We are in the process of packing for a move (we’re doing it ourselves), so my immediate need/use would be for the items that I need to be packed for more sturdiness, as sometimes in a move, things get banged around, resulting in breakage, because of the flexible nature of boxes. That’s my immediate need. After that the possibilities are limitless. Could be for packing apples when we go to the apple orchard, for organizing my garden tools or if they are the right size, buy hanging folders and use them for filing. It would be great if they could be stacked on top of one another.

What a fab idea. I would love them for my groceries too. I always wind up with crushed chips or a broken egg. Also great to contain those “must haves” in the car.

Groceries. We shop at Costco often and have to “bag it” myself anyway but these would speed that up!
