UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

Andrea,
I, too, share your pet peeve of jumbled,
smashed groceries especially bread and chips! I would definitely use the crates for grocery shopping but I also scrapbook and I can see myself using them to carry my items to a crop. I LOVE that they are reusable, green and compact!

i’d use them to organize the extra baby supplies i keep in my truck. I have a 5 month old and keep a stash of extra diapers, change of clothes, toys…. in case we are out longer than planned.
I’d also use them for groceries and work supplies (i’m a home health nurse so my truck is also my desk).

Wow, these could be used in so many ways, but I think I like the original use you mentioned the best, to organize groceries in the back of our mini-van. We usually have the back seat folded down, so stuff rolls around all over in the back. These would be awesome to have! ๐

I love the groceries idea, but I am thinking they would also be great for craft organization!! Or.. I have stairs and they would be great to put one for each family member on the steps to take our “stuff” upstairs. Color coded for each family member..

Aldi doesn’t provide free bags, and I sometimes forget bags and just toss groceries all in the back of my car! This would be a great solution!

Oh I love these ideas!!! I especially like using them or groceries. We live in an apartment and have to carry the bags up stairs so I get frustrated when they give us 5 bags when 2 or 3 would have been enough. This would help that a lot. It would also help us limit how much we buy by buying only what fits in the crates lol. I love reusable bags but they always seem to rip and tear. These look like they’ll hold up a lot better!!

Love this!!! Sometimes I do not have enough reuasable bags when shopping,so this would be great for groceries, and since I am trying to organize everything (thanks to you) this would benefit my household. Thank you!

I love the idea of using these for groceries. At the store, items usually get stuffed into bags and when we get home, I need to sort through each bag deciding what stays upstairs and what goes downstairs for long-term storage or into our extra fridge and freezer. It would be so handy to be shopping with these open in a cart and sort the items into them, go through the check-out replacing the items, and then when we get home, just handing kids each a basket to put away in their designated area. I also like that they are strong…no more cans punching through cheap plastic bags when I forget my regular shopping bags.
