UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

I think I would probably use these for groceries like you. If I keep them in the car, anytime I go to Aldi’s I wouldn’t have to worry about forgetting my bags, since they don’t bag anything for you there.
Or, I could organize my crafty supplies – they tend to get a little out of hand. ๐

Besides groceries, I would use them at Estate Sales and when carting items to my flea market booth, as I sell vintage housewares online and occasionally in-person, and find it to be a challenge to pack things for transport, especially irregularly-shaped items.

I love this idea! I think I would definitely use them for grocery shopping. It drives me crazy when they don’t pack the bags “right”, as I even sort the items when I put them on the belt. And my reuseable bags sometimes tip over in the car…

I love the idea of using them in the store. But also to store auto supplies and the first aid kit and last but not least, legos that end up all over the carpet.

I love being organized and hate having my groceries all jumbled together so these crates would be a lifesaver!

I would definitely use them for groceries. I love my reusable bags, but would like something sturdier so they don’t dump in the car.
Joe Warman says
Great for college kids to use for organizing and those trips to the store.
Also good for keeping the plastic grocery bags from dumping all over the trunk or backseat.

These would be great for the grocery store. Last week I was pushing the cart into the store on a very windy day. Had my reusable bags underneath the cart as usual. My bags decided to fly all over the parking lot. These would be a better choice. Thank you.

We are working on doing a major cleanout/oranizing this winter until it’s done (which it never will be) with thoughts that if we ever have to move, it would take too long with all the stuff we’ve accumulated . I’m thinking the Cresbi crates would make good sorting crates to use for donate piles, bring to another room/garage piles, and a few in my car to contain the stuff that’s gathered there. Love the idea of using for groceries too and that they colapse so that when not in use, they do not take up much space! Thanks for having the contest ๐

I would use them for groceries and definitely for road trips.

These are awesome! I’m always using large gift sacks to carry or store things. I could use in my SUV to contain stuff and keep it from sliding around and for organizing supplies and be able to carry from place to place! Thanks for the chance to win!

I would definitely use for groceries!
