UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I would definitely use them for groceries. Also for carrying loads of stuff to and from church. I could use them to deliver meals. I could use them when traveling so I could actually find that extra tub of wipes when I need it. Picnics. Taking water toys to the pool. I could leave them in the trunk!!!!!
Carolyn says
What a wonderful, eco-friendly idea for groceries. Much more tidy (and easier to clean) than reusable bags!

I would totally <3 these CRESBI crates!!!! We live on the second floor and grocery shopping is my husband and I's most challenging task. We will load up our arms with the handles of the plastic shopping bags just so that we do not have to come back down for another load. Not to mention how all the groceries fall out of or THROUGH the flimsy shopping bags and end up rolling around the back of the car. I found a full glass spaghetti sauce jar under the stroller in the back once…we had gone shopping a week earlier…Ooops.
Thank you for all that you share!
Melanie says
I think I’d use them in my car for all of the stuff that collects in the car. Easy to transfer right back into the house.

I never knew such a product existed. We only grocery shop once a month and these would be perfect for the back of our SUV. Brilliant idea.

I almost got giddy when I saw this post. Collapsable crates? I have 2 kids involved in different sports. I always need to carry drinks and snacks in my momvan (not to mention sporting equipment, bleacher seats, blankets, warm-ups, etc) and these would be perfect for organizing that hot mess.

Like you, I would use them for groceries! That looks great!

Looking at the different colors and having several (7) kids, four at home full time, these would be great to organize laundry for everyone. We’re limited to a small laundry closet in the home we rent so having them collapse they’d fit easily on the shelf where only one laundry basket sits!

I subscribe via google reader.

WOW! these are amazing! this is the first I have seen them.
They would be so useful! I would use them for the groceries like you, but as a bookkeeper I also tote around a lot of paper work and files and these would be great! Color coded for each client!
Very useful! Love ’em!

I would love those for groceries! I have been using reusable bags, but even if I line my stuff up on the conveyor belt in categories, some things still get squished.
Tara says
Wow…these are awesome. I love boxes & organizing. I would use them for groceries, or perhaps to keep my kids’ games organized.
Heather says
I would love to use them for groceries and probably many other things. I love that they are collapsible!
Heidi says
I would use the CRESBI bins for regular grocery shopping trips and for the farmers market. I might designate one bin for road trip items: sunscreen, snacks, water, a couple toys, etc.
