UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

I love how the storage of these is so compact! I could think of a lot of uses besides how awesome they would be for groceries. One in each room for laundry or one for each person for that matter, for toys or toiletries. The possibilities are endless!
Jessica says
These would be perfect to use at Aldi each week
M says
Great idea!! I always scrounge around for boxes while shopping so I don’t have to pay for bags!

1) Would absolutely use these for organizing groceries in the stores shopping cart …. 2) Stacking in the car with groceries and anything else, like small items you purchase that tend to get lost on the floor or under the seat. AND, you would be able to SEE everything and save time! 3) Working from a home office with our business I tend to need to move work supplies from one room to another for new scenery ๐ (who wouldn’t like to work from their porch/deck?) These would be fantastic to gather all supplies and folders, and have sitting next to the lap top as well as moving out new supplies purchased for my shop ๐ ~ Marla

I would use them for groceries. But they would also be great for separating out items that need to be put back where they belong…one crate for each person or room in the house and then one quick trip to deliver everything back to it’s “home”

I would use them for groceries like you. My first high school job was a bagger at Meijer. I am very particular about bagging. I bought some canvas bags from QVC a while back, but they are starting to rip apart now. Also, most cashiers I think are afraid to load them up fully, so I end up with just as many plastic bags anyway. I think this would be a better solution.

I’d use them in my linen closet for sheets, towels, etc. It’s a disaster right now and driving me NUTS!!

I would use them to store our non-refrigerated produce in our pantry closet and for some under the bed storage (we have a very tall bed frame) for things I access more frequently than the things that are put in lidded tubs. Great idea!
Shannon says
I used to have something similar to this but gave it away. Now I am wishing I had several to do EXACTLY what you mentioned about groceries!!! I just love an organized “trunk” so much!

I would definately use these for groceries but they would also be great for garage/yard sale shopping. These would also be great for beach trips packed with supplies, they would be easy to carry and wouldn’t hold sand.
When we get groceries I like to sort my items too, as I put them on the belt for the cashier. Fruit and veggies together, meat and frozen, boxes and cans and all of my non-food together. Or I bag while my husband scans. Hubby and I both are former baggers and like our groceries bagged “properly”.

I would keep them in the back of our Jeep for groceries, definitely. We don’t keep much in the car, but these would be great for easily organizing groceries and bringing them in. They’d also be great for Goodwill runs (we go a couple times per month to drop stuff off)!

I love the idea of using them for grocery shopping! Even better than the reusable bags–and less moving around in the trunk of the car. ๐

I would use them in the back of my car for all the kids’ sports stuff

I would use them at the grocery store (of course) but also for when you have five minutes to clean up before the company comes…. they would be great for last second storage!!
Emily K says
I would defintely use these to grocery shope. Much more organized than keeping up with resuable bags. And with those, your stuff still gets jumbled.

We live at the beach and I like to be ready for a beach walk at all times. I’ll use the crate to store lotion, shoes, hat, bags to pick up shells, etc. Enjoy your posts, very helpful!
Melissa says
These are awesome! I would definitely use these for potlucks and bringing things to church. Keeping my trunk organizes. (Maine winters you want to have extra things on hand just in case.) I also think these would be great for packing for the picnics, beach and camp. Love how they could just be hosed down or thrown in the dishwasher!
I am sure they would also get used a bit to organize some toys.
Rachel says
Groceries! And my daughter will love to carry them around the house filled her “things”!
Suzanne says
I think I would use them as pictured, in the back of my van, and in the middle and maybe even the front ๐ I need supplies, but I don’t like them just rolling around.
