UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

LOVE these crates because of their sturdiness and indestructibility. Like your Nora did, I can see my toddler reappropriating them for himself to carry his vehicles all over the house. I would love to have these for stocking up on pantry supplies on my grocery trips. Also look great for big trips to the public library!! Thank you for this opportunity!

Being that I am a single, working mom with a 2 year old son who just graduated college, they could and would help me tremendously. I could use them to organize my son’s car/travel/adventure toys and supplies in my small car. I could also use them to organize my financials. Also I could use them to organize drinks from the grocery store because I already have reusable bags for the other stuff and I pack and sit them so sturdy in the car that they never move. It is just the drinks…and fruit. LOL. But there are so many endless possibilities for the use of the crates.

Costco! These are perfect for trips to warehouse stores ๐ I never buy enough at the regular grocery store to fill more than one reusable bag, but I can and will do some damage at a Costco or Sams.

I would use these in my trunk to store all my field work gear! I have so many things flopping around, sometimes it takes me ages to find stuff.

Binoculars
Flagging tape
Measuring tape (industrial style!)
Batteries
Camera
GPS
Emergency spill kit
First aid kit
Safety footwear
Rain gear
Snacks
Water bottles
Clipboard and field forms
Cell phone and car charger
Laptop
Car charger-converter gadget
Not to mention the normal trunk items:
Car jack
Car tools
Emergency kit with big blanket
Bike rack/carrier
Grocery shopping cloth bags
Cat carriers for pet travel (to vet – ugh!)
The list goes on! These are an amazing idea and EXACTLY what I should have!!!

I would use them in the car to corral all the junk that somehow appears when you have five kids. I love the idea of packing them and then loading on the belt so your groceries are already sorted and ready to be put away when you get home.

These are new to me. I am a frustrated organizer, never knowing what to do, how to do it, what to use to do it. I am looking forward to having some of these to organize everything. I particularly loved the photo of your trip to the grocery store. Love to organize my bathroom closets too.
