Guess What I’m Doing Today…

Guess what I did this morning…

I got up, got ready, packed a bag, drove to the airport, and flew to Chicago.

Want to know what I’m up to?

For the next two days, I’ll be attending the Hoover International Home and Houseware Show, meeting with Hoover executives, seeing the latest and greatest new Hoover products, and meeting the other “Hoover Insiders”!

Exciting stuff :)

What the heak is a Hoover Insider?

I’m so excited to be a Hoover Insider… which basically means I get to learn all about the coolest new Hoover cleaning products — AND share them with you {…and you know how much I love to clean!!}

All year long, I’ll be testing out different Hoover products and letting you know what I think – I’m especially excited about their new line of hard-surface floor cleaners, which will be perfect for our wood floors.

Oh, and if it’s alright with you, I’ll be giving away a bunch of really cool Hoover products!!

Meet the Hoover Insiders:

Of course, I’m also SUPER excited to meet the other Hoover Insiders — several of which I know from “blogland” and now I get to meet them in “real life”!  Make sure you check them out on Hoover’s Facebook page or visit their websites below!

1. Food For My Family – Shaina Olmanson

2. Jabbering Jessi — Jessica Matthews

3. Jolly Mom — Piera Jolly

4. Mommy Mandy — Amanda Acuna

5. Mommy PR — Andrea Millay

6. My Wee View — Lynette Robinson

7. Mom Spotted — Jennifer DaFonte

8. Buttoned Up — Sarah Welch

9. Dad Labs — Clay Nichols

10. Deal Seeking Mom — Tara Kuczykowski {she’s actually with Dirt Devil…but I’m excited to meet her too!}

And since I’m all about simplifying my cleaning and organizing routine {and I know you are too} I’ll be sure to ask the Hoover executives LOTS of questions to find the best products for our busy families and lives.

So stay tuned — later this week I’ll be sharing more about my fun trip to Chicago, the amazing new Hoover products, and a bunch more tips and tricks to simplify your cleaning routine.

But I’d love to hear from you too!

What are cleaning products are you looking for?

What tools would help you simplify your cleaning routine?

Do you own any Hoover products? If so, what do you like and/or dislike about them?

I’ll make sure to bring your questions to Hoover!

    The floors in my house are either hard wood, laminate or tile. I would eventually like to carpet our bedrooms. The hard wood can be cold in the winter. I am constantly sweeping my floors because they get so dusty and it drives me crazy.

    I own a hoover windtunnel. I like it except I do wish the handheld tube was a little more powerful.

    Have fun!

    My Hoover Windtunnel has worked really well for me the nearly 9 years that I’ve had it–it was a wedding gift! I am so impressed by that since so many appliances/electrics do not last as long as they used to. I like that the upkeep is easy and I can replace belts and bags myself without paying a lot for someone else to do it for me. Someday I’d like to try a bagless vacuum.

    I’d love to try a bagless vacuum too. I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews about bags vs. bagless, but I still want to give it a try!

    Glad to hear your Windtunnel is still working well for you!

    I just got a new Hoover vacuum after reading how highly it rated in Consumer Reports and seeing lots of great reviews online. I LOVE it!! I’ve got severe dust mite allergies, so vacuuming 3 times a week (or more) is crucial for me, and my new Hoover vacuum gets the job done well!

    I’m also in the market for a new steam mop for my tile floors. I’ve got an old steam mop, but I’m not too pleased with it. I’d love to see some info on a Hoover product like that!
