Giveaway #23: Plan to Eat – 3 Full Year Meal Planning Subscriptions
I am a huge advocate for meal planning – not only to help stretch our small grocery budget, but also to simplify and organize our weeknight routine {and honestly, would doesn’t need to stretch their budget or simplify weekday meals?}
If you are like me, then you’ll LOVE Plan to Eat’s simple, electronic, and really convenient online meal-planning services — that you can accomplish in 3 quick steps.
#1. Import, Organize, and Share your Recipes.
Not only can you type in all your favorite recipes and access them from any computer with internet access, you can also search and IMPORT recipes from your favorite blogs or cooking websites to make meal planning that much easier!
#2 Create your monthly meal plan.
Quickly and easily drag and drop recipes from your Recipe Book to create your monthly meal plan. You can even add additional ingredients, make notes, change the number of servings, and then print and export your meal plan to other calendar programs to sync your meal plan with your schedule.
#3 Create customized grocery lists based on your meal plan and pantry staples
The Shopping List is where all your hard work pays off as it automatically combines and categorizes ingredients from the recipes that are on your meal plan.
That’s it.
If you’re not already using Plan to Eat’s meal planning services, then you’ll be happy to know that they are giving THREE full-year memberships away for my birthday giveaway!

Our meal planning? Um…that implies that we plan ahead or have time to plan ahead! Right now it consists of whomever is home first checks the cupboards and fridge/freezer to see what can be created.

Currently, for meal planning I sit down every Monday and plan according to what my husband’s schedule is, the current week’s sales, and what coupons I have. I like how I do it, but it is a major time consumer every week…if I had an easier way, it would be great! ๐

My meal planning is one week at a time – just trying to figure out something we haven’t had over and over and something my son will like.

My current meal planning method is just writing out what we will have for dinner each day of the week and then I go to the store to purchase the items to make those meals.

I currently meal plan using my google calendar with most of my recipes in Evernote. I then make a paper grocery list from these… but I’d love to streamline with Plan To Eat!

Meal planning is non-existent! Help!
Faith says
My meal planning is a work in progress. I’m slowly starting to incorporate freezer cooking and going through my cupboards to take “inventory” of what I already have before going shopping and trying to build some meals ideas around that. ๐ I hope to come up with a 7 week plan of different meals for Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack that I can rotate through to give us plenty of options.
