UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to Michelle (shellysmith@…) and Becky (rlf102@…)
Now that school is in FULL swing again, I’m wondering if any of your schedules are feeling overloaded?
If you’re like Dave and me (and we only have one child) you were rudely interrupted from your glorious summer break and forced back into the strict school schedule — life is rough, isn’t it 🙂
If you feel like your family’s schedule is out of control…let me take 10 minutes to introduce you to the Calendars & Chores Etsy Shop.
With a name like Calendars & Chores, I feel like the products are pretty self-explanatory — HOWEVER, the super cool thing about all of Jen Peterson’s calendars, chore charts, and to-do lists is that they are ALL magnetic and they are ALL dry/wet erase. This means no paper waste and no need to purchase refill pages or duplicate calendars every year.
.
And while all the Calendars & Chores products are fun and fabulous, the product I’m most excited to share with you today is the Large Magnetic Dry/Wet Erase Calendar.
Isn’t it pretty?
I have a feeling this calendar just might be able to help with some of your family scheduling woes… keep reading to learn more!
What makes THIS calendar different?
This calendar is so much different than other Dry Erase calendars because the weeks are separated and can easily be moved — so you can always plan 5-6 weeks ahead (and you all know how much I love planning ahead!). When the top week is over, you simply erase it, pull it up, and move it to the bottom of the calendar. You then move the other weeks up and you’re ready to plan some more.
This means you’ll never get to the end of your calendar AND you’ll never have to go out and buy another calendar!
And for those of who you live and die by the calendar on your phone, I can speak from experience that it’s still really nice to have one big family calendar in the home to keep everyone on their toes.
A few more details:
Each magnetic calendar kit comes with 6 weeks of separate strips for weekly planning. It also comes with one “days of the week” strip and all 12 months as separate magnetic strips.
Each piece is completely backed with a quality magnet.
Each calendar comes in a variety of colors and fonts.
Each calendar comes with a choice of frame color. The finished product is 27.5″ x 23.5″.
BONUS: each calendar will automatically come with a “memo” strip with the following categories: Upcoming Events, Grocery List, To Do List, Notes
So this calendar really does have EVERYTHING to help you get and stay organized (at least when it comes to your schedule!) Plus, it looks fabulous hanging on your wall!

Yes, school is back in session, and I work there; my crew boat captain husband has a crazy schedule. We are constantly reminding each other about different events and commitments we have separately and together. Add the kiddo and other family stuff into the mix and we can get pretty scrambled. We need a system and this sounds great. I love how you can keep the weeks going without having to turn a page to look ahead. Did I say how much we need this?!?! Thanks for hosting the great offer.
Michelle says
We just moved to our first home so I see this being perfect to get us organized and stay on schedule

Kelli says
I would love this as it is already what I am doing now, but with dollar store weekly calendars that I glued magnet onto. This calendar would look so much nicer and it’s the first time I’ve seen this concept since I ‘thought’ I invented the idea about 8 months ago. ๐
Vikki says
I would use it to keep track of 2 busy high schoolers. Thank you for the giveaway!

Currently, I am using large, monthly, elementary-school-type calendars, because I can purchase them for $.50 per month (in packages of two) at the dollar store. This give-away calendar would look much classier on my kitchen wall.

claire anderson says
I would give it to my daughter who is a very busy Mom of three with a hubby that is always gone.
Stephanie says
We have a blended family and kids in 3, yes 3!, different schools in 3 different cities. Talk about a scheduling nightmare! We have been trying to figure out the best system for the entire family to know who is where and if they can add on an activities, etc. We are currently using all 3 school calendars taped side by side lol!
This would make our life so much easier! I have looked and looked for value priced calendars and they just don’t exist and we are on a super tight budget :/
Kristi C says
I would love to win these! They will be perfect for our family, as my husband and I work opposite schedules. Between appointments, marking down pay schedules, etc. this is exactly what we need ๐
Steph S says
This would be perfect for managing all of our schedules! I’m using a huge dry erase calendar right now but it’s such a pain at the end of the month to have to erase and start over.
Sonia says
I would totally put this up on my fridge! It’s so cool! I could use it for menu planning, grocery stuff, and events.
Nicola says
I would love this calendar: with me being a professor, my husband working part-time, a Kindergartner and a preschooler a calendar like this would be a lifesaver. Finally I would not forget to pack the show-and-tell for the preschooler, lunch and the library book for the Kindergartner, my own appointments etc. ๐
Karimey says
I am starting to travel for work and would love to have this centralized calendar to keep Husband and Chillins on track while I’m gone. This is much prettier than my paper print out. ๐
Monica says
I need something to keep up with my children!
Kristen Chamberlain says
I have two little girls (4 and 16 months). My husband and I both work full time, I teach a night class and he takes classes on the weekends. I have been trying to start menu planning but lately I can’t even make a grocery list in the kitchen because my oldest daughter steals the paper and leaves trails of it all over the house. I would love this calendar to help me keep track of appointments, deadlines, and everyones crazy schedule. In addition, it would be great to have a place to jot down a grocery list and to keep track of our families as they come and go. Basically, I think I’d use to to manage my life!
Lisa L says
Oh my gosh, with one kid in grade school and one now in Jr High – sports has taken over our lives. This would come in so handy to know when and where practice and games are at.
Great giveaway!!
desi says
I would use it to organize my busy work schedule now that college basketball season (my industry) is starting again!
Marianne says
I would use this in place of the paper calendar on my fridge. It would be much easier to change things since I could wipe off and re-write…instead of a bunch of pen scribbles!
Cheryl says
I would love this to keep our family’s schedule where everyone could see it!! Between work, school, band, confirmation, doctors appts, etc. this would keep us all on track!!
Christina Steinhart says
This would be amazing! We just moved so, I’m trying to get everything and everyone back in order and on track. This would pull everything together and be extremely useful!Between meals, school, appointments and work it’d be a HUGE plus! And my birthday is Saturday so, that would make my day ๐
David says
I would love to have this Calendars & Chores board in our home to organize all of our seperate and joint activities with youth football, soccer, Cub Scouts, work overtime, Dr. appointments, UAW obligations, and more! Using a regular flip calendar to have all of the activities is bothersome because you have to wait until the end of the month before you notice what’s going on the first week of the next month and then I am scrambling. My Google calendar is nice, but I really only pay attention to the day-to-day stuff. I could really use this to keep our (wife and 3 kids) lives in order!
Christina neumann says
I’m using the Flylady calendar right now. It’s nice and big. But I need a new one to start the year.
Virginia says
I would use it for my husband and me. We are both graduate students and I am competing for my 1st Bodybuilding Competition.
Tailmixy Mel says
This is perfect! I have been trying to create something along these lines with little success. I know exactly where it will hang in my house. With childcare for 1 child, preschool for another, both of us doing things for church, me taking classes, and teaching at 5 schools in 3 days, this would be a HUGE help in keeping things straight. I already color code, so the color-coding caught my eye. The magnetic strips are great. I love how it can be personalized so easily to make it work for everyone. This would be AMAZING to win!
Vickie says
I would LOVE to use this in my kitchen to keep track of the whole family on one calendar-school events, dr. appts, volunteer activities. Especially to keep my husband in the loop-he rarely even looks at our calendar. Maybe this pretty one will keep his attention!!
Donna says
it would be great addition to our school room.
Laura Francisco says
I would love to have this calendar to keep track of my husband’s travel, my twins and my toddler’s appointments, play dates, etc. When we have family visiting, when we are going to travel or our weekend activities. Love it!
