Last year, I featured a REALLY cool product on my blog — the DUO Binder. It’s basically a 3-ring binder and an accordion folder all in one, and Dave and I both use them for a variety of things in our business and personal lives.
Dave uses his binders for his planner, school work, and coaching. I use my binders to store and organize all our important papers, keep track of our various manuals, and corral some of Nora’s craft supplies.
We LOVE these binders!
So I’m sure you can imagine how excited I was when I received a package on my doorstep earlier this fall with the brand new TRIO Binders inside.
These binders are basically just as amazing as the DUO Binders — but they have the added functionality of pop-out hanging tabs that allow you to hang the entire binder in any letter-size filling cabinet. This might sound like a small detail, but if you use your binder to organize any documents you access on a regular basis, keeping them readily available in a filing cabinet is just so handy.
Side Note: I just shared my new filing cabinet makeover yesterday — pop over and take a look!!
And since tax season is right around the corner (and since these binders would make an awesome Christmas gift) I thought it might be the perfect timing for a little TRIO Binder giveaway!!
Just think of all the things you could organize with this binder:
- Recipes and menu plans
- Home improvement information (paint swatches, ideas, invoices, receipts)
- Manuals, warranties, and product information
- Class materials for teachers, students, and parents
- Holiday gift ideas and receipts
- Greeting cards and gift tags
- Travel itineraries
- Photos or memorabilia
- Coupons and shopping lists
- Tax documents
- Kid’s artwork, school projects, report cards, etc.
- Craft supplies, colored papers, stickers, etc.
- and SOOO much more!

I would use it to start my home planner for 2014! Great time to get organized and have it all in one place, and we just invested in a nice filing cabinet too, so it will definitely save on space in the cabinet!

I’m in charge of our school fundraising programs – Box Tops, Tyson, Campbell’s, etc. We have 6 different programs. I would use it to corral all the different paperwork in one spot, rather than the multitude of mish mash that was handed to me when I took over.

So many uses! I’d start with all the calendars, notes, & other papers that come with having kids.

I would love to use this Duo Binder to organize my crazy, hectic life! I would use it to pare down the mountain of paper I am drowning in and organize everything in one place. I currently have two file cabinets I am purging and it would be a great motivator to try and make it all fit in a portable binder. What a sense of accomplishment if I could whittle my important papers down to a size I could take with me on the go!
Sherri Nordyke says
I am a trainer for our new computer system at our hospital. I’d use it to organize my material and handouts.
These look very cool!
Ramsey says
Ooh, I just love these!
These would be ever so excellent for organizing my small business (even though I’ve only just started posting artwork). How great would that be for keeping little sketches, lists of paint colors/brushes/papers/etc I’m running low on, and all sorts of other useful stuff?
I might have to pick one up regardless.
Bonnie says
I would us it to organize my life!!! I have a binder that has similar things, currently, but it’s not nearly as efficient and cool as this one. I have lots of recipes, I plan on homeschooling, and I’m an organization freak. SO this would be awesome:)

Ohhhh! This looks great. I would use mine to corral some of the paper clutter I am drowning in–what a cool product!

Both my parents recently moved into an assisted living facility and with my Power of Attorney in hand, I’m in the process of organizing all their paperwork / information — a daunting task since little appears to have ever been thrown away. This binder looks ideal for organizing the information as I work through this big project.

Melaney says
I would totally use this to get my financial paperwork under control! What a cool system.

I would use this binder to keep organized in my new responsibilities as board member of a local nonprofit. I could keep meeting notes, sample brochures, photos, research notes, and even booklets in it. Then I could store it in my wooden lateral filing cabinet so that it wouldn’t become clutter!

Oooh these would be so awesome for organizing for girls scouts, and the important files for the safe!
