Last year, I featured a REALLY cool product on my blog — the DUO Binder. It’s basically a 3-ring binder and an accordion folder all in one, and Dave and I both use them for a variety of things in our business and personal lives.

Dave uses his binders for his planner, school work, and coaching. I use my binders to store and organize all our important papers, keep track of our various manuals, and corral some of Nora’s craft supplies.

So I’m sure you can imagine how excited I was when I received a package on my doorstep earlier this fall with the brand new TRIO Binders inside.

These binders are basically just as amazing as the DUO Binders — but they have the added functionality of pop-out hanging tabs that allow you to hang the entire binder in any letter-size filling cabinet. This might sound like a small detail, but if you use your binder to organize any documents you access on a regular basis, keeping them readily available in a filing cabinet is just so handy.

    Oops! I guess I didn’t read the fine print from your request about how I’d used the binder. As I mentioned in my earlier comment, I’m hoping to get control of my paper clutter and would love to create a binder like you’ve made of all your important documents, papers, etc. so if someone needed to take over for me, it would be at their finger tips.

    I LOVED your post yesterday and also checked out some previous posts you’ve had on eliminating/cutting back on paper clutter.     I have a thousand uses for these but probably would start with financial stuff. I could venture out from there and do household items and serial numbers and instruction manuals. And so on…

    I could really use three of them. I would use one for me self to organize all our finances and important information. The others would be used for each of my two sons for them to organize their affairs. They are in their early twenties and this would be good to keep them organized.

    I’d use it to organize my recipes. Right now I have one file drawer of folders with recipes to try and a binder of tried and true recipes. With a trio I could have those in one place and free up an entire file drawer!

    This looks Great for a Homeschooling mom. I would love to use the binder each day to group the weekly work and projects I do with my daughter for her homeschooling. I could divide the binder and the accordion with daily activities for her and it would keep us organized to have fun schooling on the go.

    I would use it to file household paperwork that I access frequently. Right now we have a file cabinet in our office for all our paperwork but I find that papers I need to access more frequently don’t always get put back in the file cabinet :0! They end up on top of the file cabinet until I get so frustrated by the sight of it all that I end up doing something about it. I think this would prove very useful :)!
