The school year is almost here for Dave (I know there are many schools who have already started) and one thing Dave and I don’t exactly love doing is packing lunches every single day.
However, this year, I’m a little more excited to pack lunches because (thanks to a fun giveaway I did last spring) we have an assortment of reusable AgainBags that we’ll be using in place of hundreds of plastic storage bags.
If you’d like to cut back on your consumption of plastic sandwich and snack bags {and have something FUN for packing lunches this year}, I have the perfect product for you!
AgainBags.com is a company that specializes in hand-made, reusable lunch and snack bags that are lead-free, phthalate-free, BPA-free, AND they come in fabulous colors and patterns…
They also have a brand new Active Wrap set that is absolutely perfect for lunches because the sandwich bag/wrap actually folds out into a “place mat” which I imagine would be nice for sticky, “germy” desks at school or at the office!
These bags are fantastic for sandwiches, wraps, fruits, veggies, cookies, bars, chips, pretzels, crackers, and pretty much any other food you want to carry with you.
I know I’m excited to use the AgainBags this year… and even more excited that they are offering two gift certificates as this weekend’s giveaway!
The Giveaway:
Today, two lucky readers will win a $25 AgainBags gift certificate, good on anything available on the AgainBags’ website.

I’m intrigued! I have been intending to get some kind of stainless steel sandwich container for my boys’ sandwiches, but these could be even better. Sure hope I get the chance to find out!

I have to have the following for my daughter’s school lunch: bread and cheese, some kind of cracker/pretzels, and some kind of dessert (usually I stock fruit snacks.) Yes, you’re right – there are no fruits and/or veggies in this lunch. I’m still working on that. Sometimes I put them in but they never get eaten. : )

Both Hubby and I do lunch, every day. This would be great for him, he likes sandwichs and fruit and veggies. It would help cut down use of plastic wrap and glad bags. Have seen these items but hesitant to buy, don’t know how they would wash so this would be good to try out. We pack lunches 5 days a week. Big help for us. Thanks for the offer.

Hi Andrea! I never thought I’d need these bags, but this year, our son has decided to take his lunch! And he’s a junior in high school! The school lunches are that bad! I’ve just been making a sandwich, some brownies, (from scratch), and some Pringles for his lunch. The bags will save a ton of plastic waste! I hope to win, but if not, I will check on purchasing some. Thanks for the giveaway! Blessings from Bama!

These would be AWESOME for hubby’s breakfast and lunch. My heart hurts every morning when I use foil to wrap his warm breakfast wrap and baggies for his lunch.

Always look forward to your Friday giveaway. These are so useful. My fave go to lunch was leftovers from the night before that I would divvy up into containers, sometimes I’d freeze a set too for another time. I once packed and froze six complete meals from my Thanksgiving dinner. xo
