Congrats to: Lauren S. (lillyblaze114@…)
I do a really good job of limiting the amount of stuff I “collect”, but when it comes to fun kitchen gadgets, I have a hard time passing them up!
While I love spending time in the kitchen, I also love using kitchen tools that help me save time and simplify meal-planning. And as you can see by my “kitchen gadget drawer” I have a lot of kitchen gadgets, but I DO keep them pretty organized 🙂
Today, I’m excited to share with you a few more kitchen gadgets I’ve been using… and give you an opportunity to win a fun Microplane gift set!
Microplane Artisan Series 4-Piece Grater Set
First of all, aren’t the colors so fun! The set is currently available in white, grey, red, federal blue, green, yellow, and multi. Second, these graters are completely flat which means that won’t take up tons of space in your drawers. Third, they are dishwasher-safe, highly durable, have a soft-touch rubber handle.
This 4-piece set includes:
Microplane Specialty Series Cut Resistant Glove
I had never even heard of a cut-resistant glove before — and my fingers are so thankful I now have one to use myself! This Cut Resistant Glove allows for safer food preparation with its uniquely constructed, machine washable, light weight and comfortable design.
Made from man-made fibers, the “one size fits most” glove molds quickly to fit either hand. And even though it might be a bit big for kids, this might be a really safe way to let them help you a little more in the kitchen!
Microplane Easy-Prep Pizza Cutter
The Easy Prep Pizza Cutter is designed with a soft grip ergonomic handle and an all stainless steel blade. The pizza cutter’s unique design allows for easy blade removal for fast and easy cleaning.
And even though this pizza cutter takes up less space than our previous cutter, the wheel is actually bigger which means it can cut through thicker pizza crust!
Even if you don’t share my obsessive love of kitchen gadgets, this fun set from Microplane should get you excited. After all, you could even give it as a Christmas gift or a wedding gift!

LOVE all of these items! My kitchen is apparently very under-equipped (and not colorful enough) lol Looks like I need to stock up!

Oh, and I need to add…I make my carrot cake from scratch to include shredding the carrots by hand. A glove? I never thought of that! I ALWAYS cut myself in the kitchen! LOL.

Very cool looking gadgets… I do alot of food dehydration, so my favorite kitchen gadget is my coffee grounder. I make all sorts of veggie and fruit powders to add to recipes….
Cynthia May says
Right now, my favorite kitchen gadget is very low end. It’s my whisk. I’ve been using it to blend the most amazing and natural salad dressings. I’ve been starting with four tablespoons of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of organic olive oil infused with lemon and garlic. And then I start adding stuff. All sorts of stuff. and just whisk it together. I also use it to make really interesting scrambled eggs. My second favorite is my coffee grinder. I’ve been using it to grind raw spouted pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, and lavender. I have a feeling my next round of coffee is going to taste a little odd. 🙂

Favorite kitchen gadgets: ice cream scooper from Bed, Bath and Beyond, and my cheese slicer that is old but still wonderful.

I already like you guys on FB.
I absolutely love and can’t live without my vegetable slicer. It slices & dices with ease using a surgical steel blade. I love how it slices tomato’s paper thin and my dogs love how it slices carrots so thin too for their food I cook them weekly…
Cynthia says
What kind of vegetable slicer??? I don’t have one and it sounds like I need one.

I love kitchen gadgets, although we’ve tried to pare things down to the “essentials”. I couldn’t live without my whisks and rubber spatulas. I also have to have several sets of measuring cups and spoons for when I do major baking (and don’t want to do dishes right away).

Right now, my favorite is either my Forever Sharp knife…or my Santoku knife. Once I get a KitchenAid mixer that will probably change, but they are so wonderful!
Tracy says
I’m not sure if this is considered a “gadget” but I love love love my Pampered Chef Utility Knife with a cover that has the built in sharperner. Most used gadget in my drawer.
