I would NEVER consider myself a gourmet chef by any means — I make simple meals with simple ingredients… but everything usually tastes good (at least that’s what Dave tells me!) However, even though I don’t cook gourmet meals, it’s still nice to work with gourmet cooking tools — especially if they are designed specifically with the home chef in mind.

Today’s Weekend Giveaway features a gorgeous 6″ Wüsthof Classic Chopper Knife… and let me tell you, I feel like a gourmet chef when I’m using it!

    I would chop my veggies with it. IF I get two of them, I would give one to my son. He has just bought a new home in Dallas. He is a great cook. OR chef. Whatever is the correct word!!

    I would use this for, like, EVERYTHING!! I love to chop veg, herbs, fruit, whatever … and my knives are getting pretty old. I have already “liked” you on FB for a while and I really appreciate all your posts and all that you do to keep us organized!

    Hi! I would use it in my new Kitchen to make great summer meals for me and my husband. Espceally for our new grill we got, we just moved and the weather is great in SLC so we have been grilling alot of veggies and steaks!!!

    I would use this knife to prep lots of veggies, especially this summer when fresh produce will be abundant! I have a Cutco chef’s knife that I got used off eBay, and I love it…but it is quite a bit longer than this one, so it would be nice to have a slightly smaller one.
