I would NEVER consider myself a gourmet chef by any means — I make simple meals with simple ingredients… but everything usually tastes good (at least that’s what Dave tells me!) However, even though I don’t cook gourmet meals, it’s still nice to work with gourmet cooking tools — especially if they are designed specifically with the home chef in mind.

Today’s Weekend Giveaway features a gorgeous 6″ Wüsthof Classic Chopper Knife… and let me tell you, I feel like a gourmet chef when I’m using it!

    My husband has given up carbs for dinner so we have two vegetables which requires a lot of chopping so a great knife to use would make meal prep so much easier

    I am constantly chopping in the kitchen….veggies, other produce, meats, kabob items, you name it. I feel like the human food processor! I’d use this knife several times a day for sure!

    I love the knives I have but when I cut up raw chicken they can be very hard to clean. The edges of this one look like that would not be the case!

    The non-sticky part would make it a lot more pleasant to dice potatoes. But I’d probably use it for a lot more than just that!

    What wouldn’t I use this for? I’m a huge cook and I’m always frustrated with my knives! I keep telling my husband one of these days I’m going to invest in good knives. Love chopping fresh veggies in the summer.
