I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

One of the best inventions ever! I would use them in the back of my SUV to keep things from rolling around. Great idea for when you work out of your vehicle too.

Last night my Daughter & son-in-law had a Reveal Party at my house. That was to let us know that the baby they are expecting is a girl or a Boy. So, I used a pink crate for food on my counter from the store and a blue crate for the soda pop. The Blue Crate won! It’s a Boy!

I would use them for our trunk. There are misc. things we like to keep in the car which we try to pile up, but they constantly spread out all over.

Wow! CRESBI Crates would work great for busy lifestyles. Organization is the essential key to saving time. I would love to be more organized, and have shopping actually be fun! In addition, I see these as an awesome way to pack for a vacation or a picnic!

I would totally use these for when I go grocery shopping! I could organize my items better and not have to worry about unpacking and repacking my items because i could just face the UPC to where it is accessible. Great item!

Initially I was an apprehensive Cresbi Crate user, but 3 months later I am totally hooked! Don’t be fooled by the size – each crate holds more than you would think. Depending on the groceries, I can fit 3 – 4 bags of food in one crate. However the best part is that the groceries stay organized in the crates…no more reaching into the back of the trunk to retrieve apples, yogurts, etc. I have also found that bringing the crates into the house and unpacking the groceries takes less time than plastic bags. All the food is visible in the crates so you’re not fumbling through numerous bags to find that one little item you need for tonights dinner. Another plus – they are dishwasher safe!
I mostly use my crates for groceries but the larger one I have used for potluck casseroles. I also use them anytime I need to transport multiple smaller items. People frequently stop me and ask about the crates. I highly recommend them!

I would use it for groceries. I also compliment the cashiers that pack my groceries well. My weekly shopping is quite large as I shop for my family of nine, and it makes a bit difference if ts bagged in an organized fahion. It amazes me how I can fit everything in my cart along with two or three kids but if its bagged unorganized I need two carts out ๐
Chelsea says
I would use most of them to help keep my trunk organized but I’d use one to keep a crate of toys in the back seat next to my sons car seat to keep him busy while I’m driving!

It’s hard to believe someone hasn’t come up with these before! In addition to groceries, they look useful for hauling camping supplies, school supplies, and the myriad piles of things I always seem to have laying around the house.

I would use them in the back of my Ford Explorer to organize whatever I’m carting around…sometimes groceries, sometimes park or craft items etc. i’ve never heard of them before but they sure seem cool!
Dave says
I am sure my wife and I would use them for groceries on a weekly basis, but I would also use them to cart the large quantities of apple sauce that we make each fall down to the basement. This would drastically cut the amount of trips up and down the stairs. I am sure our son would find some uses for the crates when Mom and Dad aren’t using them too!
Lea says
I would use them in my car for kids stuff and groceries.
