Since I work for a handful of other companies, blogs, websites, etc. it’s important for me to accurately track all my “billable hours” so I know how much to invoice the people I work for. However, I also like to track the time I spend on my own website so I know where all the hours in my day are going… and if it’s all worth it!
Today I’m sharing the simple method I use for tracking my time and how it helps increase my efficiency.

Yesterday… we took another four-generation picture for Nora’s baptism.
We both wore the same dress, we both were cute as a button, and we both had the privilege of Godly mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers. It was a good day!
Ever since Dave and I got married and I started cooking and baking, I’ve had an internal conflict about whether to use butter or margarine. I know this sounds ridiculous, but any time I’m at the grocery store, I always question which I should buy…
Since I’m definitely not qualified to give any sort of dietary or nutrition advice, I’m wondering what choices you make when it comes to butter, margarine, and all the many other products out there.
I don’t know about you, but we get all kinds of extra envelopes in the mail via credit card offers, donation requests, or for bills that we pay online. I’ve done everything I can to “opt-out”, unsubscribe, and sign up for paperless statements… but the envelopes still come!
I have a few creative uses for these extra envelopes, but I’m wondering if you have any to add to my list??

Thanks to my new meal planning method, we have breakfast for dinner once each week. We do this partially because we really like breakfast foods, but also because breakfast foods are great way to get lots of protein without spending money on expensive cuts of meat.

We eat a lot of Mexican food around our house… and since I’m a huge fan of simple dinner recipes, I’ve created a really delicious Mexican “base recipe” that I use almost once a week.
I usually make a double or triple batch of this mixture and store several 2-cup portions in the freezer. Then anytime we have a Mexican meal on our weekly menu plan, I defrost one container, add any other necessary ingredients {tortillas, lettuce, sauce, etc.} and can have dinner on the table in a matter of minutes!

However the other day, as I was looking through my old pictures {on our portable hard drive}, I came across this picture of me — crying in my bouncy seat. I have an almost identical picture of Nora crying in her bouncy seat…

Whenever I work with organizing clients their #1 question is usually “what type of storage containers should I buy?”
And while I agree that storage containers are a big part of any organizing project, I ALWAYS tell them not to buy anything because, I first try to take something they already own and re-purpose it as a storage container for their specific space — saving them time, money, and space.

I’ve always been a pretty punctual person — often arriving a bit early to meetings and appointments. I hate being late or feeling rushed, so thankfully it’s almost second nature for me to plan ahead, leave early, and arrive on time!
I had a feeling all of this might change after Nora was born, but thankfully I got some great advice that has helped me to still be somewhat on time…. even with a new baby!
