Yes, you read the title of this post correctly; I really have NOT purged much these past couple of months — and it’s not because I’m too busy, too lazy, or any other excuse!!
The reason I haven’t been purging is because I haven’t been bringing more stuff into our home.

I have a new favorite breakfast recipe… and it’s really, really easy!
This quiche has a simple crescent roll dough crust and can be filled with any of your favorite veggies, meats, and cheeses. It only take about 30 – 45 minutes to make and I can almost guarantee it will be a hit with your family!
I made this for dinner one night last week and we finished off the leftovers for breakfast the next morning. YUM!

And while I appreciate time-saving conveniences like email, online shopping, online banking, drive-through windows, express checkout lanes, etc.; I sometimes feel like our lives are so automated that we never actually work with REAL people.

Well, over the past year, I’ve come up with a handful of other things I am most definitely willing to splurge on. Some are bigger splurges than others, but they are all completely worth it for me!!

Dave and I have a lot of t-shirts, but we wear them all the time… so I can justify it! Plus, we keep them organized with a very clever folding method {see my very first vlog in this post}.
And while I was making the vlog, I decided it was finally time to clear out some of my t-shirt clutter to make a t-shirt quilt — so I packed up a bunch of my most memorable t-shirts and sent them off to be transformed into something a little more useful!
I have a ton of friends and family members with babies right now. Some of them stay at home with their kids, some of them work outside the home, and some of them work FROM home… like me. However, I find it interesting that most of my mom friends and relatives say they have “mommy guilt” — and in just 3 short months, I’ve had it too.

I’ve saved SO much money by using vinegar instead of more expensive store-bought items… and I feel like I’m also improving our home environment by not “polluting” it with so many harsh chemicals!

Monster cookies are some of our all-time favorite cookies — probably because they are a conglomeration of peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, M&M cookies, and oatmeal cookies all rolled into one super delicious cookie!

While, I’m certainly NOT against volunteering, charitable giving, bartering, or offering free/discounted services when the opportunity presents itself; I often have to remember that this is my job, and I can’t always work for free!
We would never expect a plumber, electrician, web-designer, or accountant to work for free; so why should I be expected to work for free just because I’m a stay-at-home-mom who “sits at my computer all day”? I’d love to hear your thoughts about working for free… especially if you are a work-from-home-person!
Dave and I don’t go out to eat all that often — and when we do, we will often split one meal to reduce our out-of-pocket expense. And even though we ALWAYS tip the waitress based on the cost of two full meals, I still sometimes feel super cheap when we split a meal.
So I’m wondering, what are your thoughts on splitting meals at restaurants? And do you have any other tips to save money while eating out?
I’ve been known to have a VERY well-stocked pantry. I guess that comes from my mom — because growing up, we always had 4 or 5 more of everything down on the pantry shelves in the basement.
And although Dave and I don’t really have a true “pantry” in our kitchen, we have several shelving units in our basement that house all our extra canned goods, baking supplies, cereal, chips, snacks, beverages, and loads of other non-perishable food supplies.
