We love our iPad… especially Nora!

We take it almost everywhere we go as it easily fits in the diaper bag or any other bag we take with us. Plus, it’s perfect clutter-free “toy” to occupy Nora if we end up waiting longer than we thought at the doctor, if she gets antsy at one of Dave’s basketball games, or if we have a longer than normal road trip.

There are enough games, coloring books, photos, videos, and TV programs to keep her entertained for a week if need be!

Recently, I was given one of the brand new Martha Stewart iPad cases to try… and I was immediately excited as I noticed how user-friendly it was AND that it easily attached to the back of a car headrest (why didn’t someone think of that sooner!)

Out of the three of us, I use the iPad the least (if you’re wondering, Dave uses it the most) and even I was impressed with this case. It’s quite thin, but still very durable and sturdy. It’s also extremely easy to operate and adjust for increased functionality and usability.

A few more reasons we love this case:

  • It’s a smart case, so it automatically turns the iPad on and off
  • It quickly and easily rotates vertically and horizontally without removing the case
  • It easily attaches to a car headrest
  • The outside is nice soft leather but the part that actually surronds the iPad is hard — so I feel like it’s really protected
  • We can easily access the camera, the volume buttons and the charging port without taking the case off (you would think this should be obvious, but this is not always the case)
  • It’s very sturdy, but light weight — and balances perfectly on a toddler’s lap 🙂

    I use my iPad for everything I would a computer, except for few tasks that can’t be done on it. My favorite thing todo s upload my sons pic and edit them on the iPad I have found some great pic editing apps that I couldn’t live without!

    I use it for everything. I love having my iPad around so that I can take care of everything that needs to get done all while being able to stay with the family.

    My I- Pad is my always on-the-job yet still somehow unobtrusive personal assistant. I think the very least I can do for it is win it a snazzy yet functional new outfit:)

    I use it to check email, look at FB sometimes, and just surf in the evenings after the kids go to bed. They use it more than I do though!

    Checking email and going on-line. After sitting at a desk for large portions of my day to complete healthcare documentation, I love the freedoms to go on-line wherever I want – my bed, the car, a comfy chair. Anything but a desk!!!!

    I became especially addicted to our iPad after having our daughter. She nursed all the time (still is at 10months) and since I don’t have a smart phone, I balance it on my lap and do just about everything I need to online while I feed her!

    My daughter looks at our family photos…her favorite app is the PBS app..she loves watching Disney junior too. I also like using it to see your site of course! I use it in my kitchen when I’m using recipes too!

    My favorite way to use my iPad is for travel. I can access my etickets, check out things to do and hours of operation for stores and activities, make dinner reservations, and send photos to my kids and grand kids of my husband and myself having a great time. It’s the best thing ever invented since indoor plumbing!

    We use our iPad for school almost everyday! Watching a little video about something we’re studying or an educational game… It’s alway handy 🙂

    My son bought my iPad for me last year for Mothers’ Day, birthday, and Christmas gifts all in one. What a blessed gift it has been! I use it for almost everything I used to use my laptop. The very best app has been FaceTime as my husband and I have been able to see and talk with our children and grandchildren in Turkey and in Little Rock. When our son and his family moved into a new home, our granddaughter took us on a “tour” of the house and backyard. Wow! Obviously, I use the email app also as I keep in touch with all of my family and my friends since I have retired from teaching high school kids. And finally, I find myself investing some worthwhile time on Pinterest. I love it! In fact, I am serving some of the recipes for Easter dinner this weekend.

    Reading blogs is my favorite way to use my iPad…and playing on it with my Granddaughter who 2 week younger than Nora….is a close second!

    I use my ipad for absolutely everything! The only thing I cant do on it is cleaning and cooking, but you can bet, I can always pull quick tips on how to accomplish both of those tasks.
