If you’ve never heard of Microplane kitchen tools before, then PLEASE, don’t click away!! 

I’ve been using Microplane tools for several years already and simply love how useful they are around my kitchen. One of my favorite uses is zesting lemons with their Ultimate Citrus Tool, but there are just so many other uses for these amazing products as well.

 

Here are some of my favorite Microplane tools — and yes, there’s a giveaway!!

1. Microplane Cheese Mill:

I love this tool because it’s so much easier to use than a rotary-style grater and the old-fashioned box graters that always cut my knuckles. The Cheese Mill has both a fine and coarse blade, as well as a lid to safely store the unused blade — plus, I guarantee you’ll never slice your knuckles again!

2. Microplane Cheese Plane:

This is the best tool I’ve found for quickly and easily slicing cheese — and I slice LOTS of cheese for our freezer! It works well with both soft and hard cheeses and you can adjust the thickness of each slice with a simple twist of the knob on top of the handle. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

 

3. Microplane Meat Tenderizer:

This brand new, ring-shaped Meat Tenderizer quickly and easily breaks down fibers of tough cuts of meat with its razor-sharp etched blades. It’s also really easy to use because you can simply rock it back and forth over your meat — no more excessive pounding!

4. Microplane Ultimate Citrus Tool:

I saved the “best” for last — my favorite Ultimate Citrus Tool! The one pictured above is their new design which has been enhanced to also include two garnishing blades, and a scoring blade to easily peel citrus fruit. See, I told you it’s a must-have tool for every kitchen!

    I finally got my first Microplane implement, a zester like in your top picture, a couple of months ago. I absolutely LOVE that thing! I zest lemons for my cheesecakes, I use it to fine-grate romano into my alfredo sauce, and I use it to grate cheese for omelets, etc (I love how fine it comes out). Great quality tool that I will own and use for years !

    I have never used microplane but would use the cheese grater the most. I am putting that on my Christmas list and the Meat Tenderizer. I cook a lot in my kitchen and am always looking for things to quicken the process and lessen time, as I work full time.

    I bought a mocroplane zester but since I rarely use zest, it doesn’t get much use. I’d love to try the cheese grater. I feel like I never have a good way to grate cheese. (Or carrots, or beets, etc.)

    I’ve never heard of them but the cheese grater looks great! I hate spending extra on shredded cheese. If I could safely do it at home from a block, I would love that!

    I have never used any microplane products; in fact i’ve never heard of them. I would love to try their items, especially the cheese slicer. Sounds amazing!

    oh, the meat tenderizer and the cheese grater look so neat! i hardly ever grate my own cheese anymore because i ALWAYS scrape my knuckles. i’d love to have fresh grated cheese and still keep my knuckles intact!

    I have a no-name microplane zester that is from TJMaxx. I love using it for lemons and for garlic. I would love to try this cheese mill…it looks awesome!
