My goal is to finish staining and varnishing all the trim and doors for our new house and get everything organized. We’ve been living in the basement for over two years while we build our house and everything is a disaster.

I like that you are asking about goals and not resolutions. I don’t do well with “resolutions” but am very goal driven! Really just a matter of somatics I guess. My biggest goal for this year is to be healthy. While physical health is very improtant so is mental health and being organized and unfrustrated is, for me, a huge part of that!

One of my many New Year’s goals is to advance in my career- specifically, I’d like to take control of the bookkeeping for one of my boss’ companies. Not only would this result in more work (money, yay!!) but would increase my sense of job security (double yay!).
I think that these checklists would also be a great way to update my home binder; what a better way to keep my house organized so I can focus on other, more important, goals.
Julie St. Clair says
To FINALLY get the house simplified and organized to the point I want it to be. I am getting close, but I still have two closets, the garage, and the attic to deal with, as well as just continuing to keep things going out of the house and new stuff from coming in as much as possible. Oh, and my little girl is due in April and I have a three year old boy, so it won’t be a simple task!!
