We’re still in the first month of a NEW DECADE, and I can’t help but reflect back on how much my life has changed since 2010.
I went from using a flip phone with no internet at home (seriously) to now running a business completely from my smartphone and home computer.
I went from long curly hair to super short hair.
I went from living in a cute little starter house to buying and renovating almost every square inch of our farmhouse.
I went from being a newly-married entrepreneur, working full-time while trying to start up a side hustle, to being a stay-at-home mother of 4, earning an income while my children sleep!
Yup… just a few changes!
One thing that has NOT changed is my commitment to simplify every aspect of life… for my own family, AND for yours.
If you’re reading this today, it’s most likely because, at some point over the last 10 years, you made a choice to simplify your life, streamline your schedule, and create more time for the people, things, and activities that bring you joy.
Maybe you were looking for simple-living tips to save your sanity, maybe you wanted more family-friendly recipes, or maybe you needed a little extra clutter-busting motivation.
Whatever the reason, you somehow “found” my online home… and I’m THRILLED you chose to share part of your simple-living journey with me!
As I look ahead to a new decade, I’m excited to share even more simple-living tips and inspiration with you…
BUT… I plan to share this information in a slightly different way.
Instead of publishing a new blog post every single weekday, and sharing quick tips and family updates on social media, I plan to send the MAJORITY of all my communications via email — directly to my subscribers.
What Does This Mean for YOU?
It means that if you still want to hear from me every weekday, you’ll need to enter your email address in that little box below.
Super simple… I know!
.
NOTE: if you’re reading this via email — you’ll want to click here to subscribe.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let me answer some of the questions you might have!
UPDATE: So many more questions keep coming in — I’ve answered many of them in this post.
WHY the sudden change?
Honestly, I’ve had this blog post drafted since July! I’ve thought about publishing it SOOO many times, but I kept pushing it back and pushing it back… so for me, it’s not a sudden change at all!
Over the last 8-10 months, I’ve felt the pull to SIMPLIFY my business life, and I’ve made much progress so far.
- I quit all but one of my Virtual Assistant jobs.
- I’ve said “no” to almost every request for giveaways and sponsored posts.
- I shut down another website I ran a few years ago.
- I streamlined my social media quite a bit.
- I implemented new strategies to help me better manage my time.
But, I feel I need to do more.
.
No really… WHY are you doing this?
The internet is a MUCH different place than it was when I signed up for my very first free Blogger blog (back in 2007!) It’s a lot busier and “noisier” now, and I don’t love it like I did way back then.
By connecting with you through email, I can eliminate a significant amount of the extra noise from social media, advertising, Search Engine Optimization, photos, videos, comments, etc.
With email, it’s just you, me, the email, and exactly what I want to share with you that day. No distractions, no busyness, no extra noise.
Honestly, I feel this will offer an improved reader-experience for you too!
.
What will happen to the blog?
NOTHING!
The blog will stay right where it is for the foreseeable future. I have no plans to move it anywhere.
And… I will still publish new content each week (just not every single weekday as I do now).
I’m actually working on a totally NEW blog design that I’m super excited to share with you in a couple of months!
The new design and layout will better-highlight archived posts and make all my past content more easily accessible for you!
And speaking of “archived posts”, I am slowly working my way through hundreds of my previous posts, updating them with better images, new information, more relevant links, printable recipe cards, videos, and more — all in attempts to make my website more useful for YOU!
Those of you on my email list will get the first sneak-peeks at my new website, as well as quick links to all the archived posts I’m working diligently to update — so yeah, you should definitely subscribe!
.
What about social media?
I will still be somewhat active on Facebook and Instagram (at least for now) — but I don’t plan to spend nearly as much time on social media.
I have nothing against social media, and from a business standpoint, this is probably a really bad decision. However, I don’t enjoy it right now, and the amount of time and effort required to keep it going just isn’t ideal for my life — so it won’t be a priority for me these next few months.
So far, I’ve been stubborn and have refused to “pay to play” on social media. As a result, the new algorithms seem to hide my content from those of you who actually like and follow me — making email seem like a better, more direct, less time-consuming alternative once again.
Also, as my children get older, I don’t plan to share as much about them on the live blog or on social media — instead, I’ll reserve the majority of my family updates and photos for email subscribers.
.
What if we already subscribe to your blog?
Those of you who signed up for the 20-Day Simplify Your Life Challenge are NOT on my regular list… so after the challenge, you will not receive future emails from me (unless you choose to sign up for my regular email list.)
If you currently subscribe to my blog via the old Feedburner subscription, you will still want to join the new email list because I plan to turn the Feedburner subscription off in another couple of weeks. There’s a chance I will be able to transfer everything over, but your best bet is just to re-subscribe.
And if you subscribe via some sort of Feed Reader, you’ll also want to get on the new email list as Feed Readers won’t show you when I update old content (which is where I’ll be focusing more of my efforts moving forward).
.
What will you do instead?
Honestly, nothing!
I’m not taking on any new jobs, and as I’ve mentioned above, I actually quit most of my Virtual Assistant jobs too.
Moving forward, I do hope to use some of my “extra time” to focus on long-term projects.
I have 2 eBooks “in the works” right now, and have been begged by so many of you to start a Podcast (something I’m currently learning more about)!
I also launched a FREE 20-Day Simple Living Challenge earlier this month (join the challenge here) and I’d love to offer more e-courses and workshops like this too. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed connecting with the nearly 2000 of you who are working your way through my challenge — it’s all via email with no distractions or extra “noise” and the feedback I’m getting is amazing!
.
When will your email arrive?
My current plan is to send out some sort of email each weekday morning (shortly after 6 am EST).
Sometimes, my emails will be longer and link back to my blog for additional information.
Other days, I might send out a free weekly menu plan or a handful of quick tips.
Sprinkled throughout the emails, I plan to share links to my favorite products, cool resources I’ve come across, updates on my personal life… and of course, cute pictures of the kids!
The emails will be worth your time — I promise!
.
When will the changes take effect?
Essentially… right now!
However, it will be a gradual process because you know change is difficult for me! 🙂
I’ll start sending emails out this week already, but I still have several blog posts in my queue, so I’ll blog more regularly over the next couple of weeks. Then I plan to gradually taper off to sharing just 2 or 3 new posts a week on the live blog.
But remember, I still plan to share all sorts of fantastic tips, ideas, motivation, and inspiration to help you simplify your home and life via daily emails sent directly to you (well, only if you subscribe).
As an added bonus, all email subscribers will have exclusive access to a variety of FREE printable checklists, calendars, menu planners, and more (I’ll be rolling out a bunch of new freebies in 2020)!
Consider this my thank-you gift to you for being such loyal readers!
I know this decision might seem crazy to some. However, I’ve thought about it for MONTHS, talked over the pros and cons with Dave at least 7,832 times, sought the counsel of a few blogger friends who have taken big jumps like this, and tweaked the wording in this post more times than I can count.
In light of my life-long commitment to simplify my own life, I feel I’m making the best choice for me, for now.
I can’t imagine I will look back on my life and wish I had worked more when my children were young… so I’m excited to spend fewer hours online while still connecting with so many of you each day (assuming you get on my email list!)
.
I am grateful for all the experiences I’ve had these past 10 years and I’m excited to see what the next 10 years have in store!
Holly Moran says
I’m definitely sad about the changes, I enjoy the comments and reading straight from the blog. But I 100% support your decision and I’ve been reading long enough to know that you don’t make this decision half heartedly. Praying that everything works out the way you hope for it to. And I will be signing up for the email.
Andrea says
Thanks for sharing Holly — these changes aren’t officially forever — just for now 🙂
And there will still be new posts each week with lots of comments to read!
Thanks for your support and for subscribing to the new email list! I’m SO excited!
Andrea says
Honest feedback from one blogger to another, I’d have been more okay with you announcing your cutting back on posting. Daily posting is more than most anyone can keep up with, let alone someone with multiple kids.
Signing up for emails, no thanks. I already get more than enough email, which is why I prefer to keep my reading materials out of my email.
Andrea says
Thanks for your feedback — I’ve been posting daily for 10 years now so it was just part of my routine. I will enjoy the extra time now though!
Also, my intention for my blog post WAS to announce that I am cutting back on post frequency… the email subscription is totally optional!
Beth says
Andrea, I am proud of you. I truly do not know how you have been able to keep all of this blogging up in addition to your family responsibilities. I signed up for your emails!
Andrea says
Thanks so much, Beth!
Clare says
You are so right in saying “I can’t imagine I will look back on my life and wish I had worked more when my children were young”. Good on you for prioritising your family. I have signed up and will look forward to your emails.
Andrea says
Thanks Clare 🙂
Patti says
Just got signed up. 😀 I mostly read your posts through my email, anyway, unless I want to see everyone’s comments on your post. Will we be able to see any reader comments with this new way?
That being said (or asked) I fully support your choosing to simplify during this season of your life. Good to know that you are willing to follow your own advice. (^,~) I’ve often wondered about some of the other bloggers that are just EVERYwhere–about how simple their life is if they’re doing all that. Not to judge, just wondered. 🙂
Looking forward to your emails…
Andrea says
you won’t be able to see comments via the emails — but you will still be able to read comments on the posts I do share on my blog!
Also, I’ll be honest, the amount of time required to do all the social media and “extra” stuff that has evolved over the past 10 years in the blogging industry is absolutely INSANE! The majority of big bloggers hire others to do it all for them (which is how I got many of my VA jobs back in the day).
It’s the opposite of simple — and any blogger who tells you otherwise is lying! 😉
Julie says
I am so supportive of your efforts to keep motherhood a priority in your life. More people need to do that. I must say, however, I still marvel at your energy to accomplish all you do! I was not blessed with that much energy, but I appreciate the regular (nonjudgmental) pep talks that motivate me to do more, at my own level.
Andrea says
I really appreciate this — I’ll keep my pep-talks coming 🙂
Cheryl Vetter says
I have signed up, but not received an email. not in spam or anywhere. 🙂
Andrea says
Hi Cheryl, I can see that your email provider (what comes after the “@”) is not a big-name email provider like Gmail or Yahoo… this sometimes causes issues with signing up for email lists.
I will try to manually subscribe you, but I have a feeling it will keep getting caught by your server so you won’t actually see any of the emails. If you have a gmail address or another address, you’ll have better luck with that!
Sue Richert says
Hi Andrea, I tried clicking the little box at the bottom of the email I received to sign up butnothing happened. Where do you sign up to continue hearing from you?
Andrea says
Hi Sue — you can sign up via the form on this webpage if that’s easier.
Thanks!
Cindy Burrill says
I am attempting to sign up but it says I am using an invalid email. I checked and that is my working email. I want to sign up! Help?
Andrea says
hmmm… that’s odd — I’ll manually subscribe you 🙂
Andrea says
I just checked and it says you are a “confirmed subscriber” so you should be all set!
Sheila Laurence says
I’m in the sad group, but do wish you the best. I have enjoyed reading. If I should sign up, would my email be shared or marketed to?
Andrea says
oh my goodness — NO WAY, I definitely would never share or sell any of the email addresses. I’m the only one who will ever see them and I’ll only use them to send you information I feel is useful and beneficial for you.
Sheila Laurence says
Thank you, Andrea. I have so enjoyed your blog. In reading comments and responses, I think I wasn’t alone in thinking that you were switching to email content only. I’m glad you aren’t!
Andrea says
no — NOT “switching” to email — just doing email in addition to fewer posts!
Marisa says
There are thousands of bloggers who preach. There are hundreds who practice what they preach. You are one of the few who preaches what you first practice. Thank you for leading the way and modeling practical everyday simplicity rather than just a pretty, trendy version of it. Thank you for letting your life and your own choices challenge us to edit our lives in meaningful ways. I look forward to your emails, and to the better choices I’m going to make this year.
Andrea says
Thanks Marisa — this is a lovely compliment!
Carol says
Hi, Andrea. I will miss your daily blog posts, though I do understand your decision. Just one question: will you be selling your email list to anyone else? Thanks!
Andrea says
Thanks Carol – I will still be blogging, just not every single day.
And as for selling the email list — ABSOLUTELY NOT… NEVER! That thought didn’t even cross my mind until several people asked!
Carol says
Thanks, Andrea. And I apologize: I did not see that another poster had also asked the same thing! 🙂
Andrea says
no worries — you weren’t the only one who “missed it” 🙂
Mary says
Just curious. How does a blog financially pay off without much for ads? I know many things we all sign up for sell their email lists. Will you be doing that ?
Andrea says
There are SO many ways to make money online — my goal with the email list is not to “make money” it’s to simplify my time online. I absolutely 100% would NEVER EVER sell any email lists or any of your information.
But you’re right, from a financial standpoint, this decision might not make sense (especially since I now need to pay a monthly fee to have the email program set up for my subscribers).
Christina says
This is what I wondered also
Leslie H says
I can understand the change, but I will miss reading the comments on your posts. Lots of good info in them that enhances what you share.
Best wishes!
Mary says
You’re right, the few blogs I follow, often the comments are also useful, informative and fun.
Andrea says
I do love the comments 🙂
Andrea says
I know — I like the comments too. However, please remember that I am not totally quitting. I will still post each week, just not 5 days a week!
Carla says
This is such an interesting post, Andrea, especially in light of your last post about personality types. 🙂 When you originally published that post about a year ago, I made several lenghty comments about Myers Briggs. Several years ago I became certified to give and interpret the official Myers Briggs test, that’s how much I love learning about personality types. I love the Enneagram too; each tool has its strengths and appropriate uses.
I thought you might appreciate hearing how your ISTJ is showing up in today’s announcement. 🙂 As I shared last year, Myers Brigss is so much more than the 4-letter label, and so much more than the description of each letter. The real beauty and power of Myers Briggs comes by dissecting the 4 letters in to individual cognitive functions. Those cognitive functions express themselves in a specific order (from super power to not-as-skilled) and are individually introverted or extraverted.
Your Introverted Sensing has been looking at all the past data for quite awhile, trying to figure out what has worked and what hasn’t. Introverted Sensing is your super power. And since it’s introverted, you did not share any of that process here on the blog… until you decided to push “publish” on today’s post… a post you had been thinking about, talking with close confidents about, and writing for months, as well as revising multiple times. Introverts do not show their super power until they are ready and feel safe to do so. (However, some readers with Introverted Intuition might have picked up on little clues you’ve been dropping for months that changes were in the making.)
What most of your readers will see in today’s post is your Extraverted Thinking. This is your second in command, and what people see first in you since you are introverted. Your Extraverted Thinking gave a logical explanation of your decision… the who, what, when, where and why of your choice… with instructions to your readers as to what to do next… Some readers will appreciate and accept this at face value and some readers (personality types) will question and want the “real” scoop, the information they believe you are not sharing because it is too personal. 🙂
Introverted Feeling and Extraverted Intuition are your 3rd and 4th cognitive functions. They are less developed than your 1st and 2nd functions. But as we get older, we begin to tip our toes in to their ponds and find ways to experience and develop them. We’re more prone to not getting it perfect in those areas at first, but they are amazing growing edges for our lives as we enter new seasons of life. Your are exerting your Introverted Feeling by stepping in to your Authenticity… by saying you are going to do what works for you as a content creator… even if someone says it might not be a good business decision or that receiving emails won’t work for them because they don’t want to give out their email address/check email for your content/and that they read as much for comments as your content, etc…. Your Extraverted Intuition is trying to come up with different solutions for you as a blogger since the on-line world has vastly changed. You don’t know if this is going to work, but you’re willing to take a chance and try something new because, back to your super power, what’s worked for you the past 10 years no longer is.
Thanks for letting me have a little fun seeing this from your ISTJ perspective. 🙂 I wish you the very best as you implement this decision!
Warmly,
Carla
Andrea says
THIS IS AWESOME!
You truly hit the nail on the head with your description of the situation. I’m definitely not one to ever share anything until I’ve 100% decided and am ready to move forward. I don’t like “wishy-washy” so I don’t share until I’m confident 🙂
Thanks for the smile today!
Sarah R. says
I have to be honest. This post and decision make me very sad. I have been a blog reader for many many years, since before Nora was born. I personally do not subscribe via email or newsletter to any of the blogs I follow, that’s just not how I enjoy participating. I don’t like sharing my information anywhere not vital, I don’t like getting emails unless they are action related work emails. I like going to the blogs I enjoy when I am available to relax and read them.
That being said, I understand my approach is probably more old school than most readers submit to these days. I also understand that you want to step away from the presence you have created over the last decade. I wish you the best of luck. But, personally, I will probably move on from your blog after a little bit then because the lack of content will no longer be inviting.
Thank you for sharing over the last 10 years.
Andrea says
Well I don’t totally understand what you mean by “you want to step away from the presence you have created over the last decade.” but I am ready for a change of pace!
I’ll still be posting a couple of times each week 🙂
Sarah R. says
What I mean’t by that is you had created a presence over the last several years where you posted on your blog every week day. Loyal readers were familiar with that schedule and kept coming back each day for that daily content. You have now decided to step away from that presence which you created, reducing content drastically on this blog.
Andrea says
Yes, I will no longer be posting 5 days a week on the live blog, but I will be sharing new content 5 days a week on via email.
We’ll see how it goes over the next couple of months, and/or if I want/need to reevaluate at all. I hate change as much as anyone, but the one felt necessary for me!
Thanks for your loyal readership 🙂
ShellyL says
I applaud you doing whatever is best for your sweet family. I will make the change with you and try it out. I do hope we will continue to see updates of your precious family. Yes, I realize I sound like a creep but I’m not. LOL Family updates make you seem like a real person as opposed to some blogs I’ve drifted away from because the “person” went away. I love that you’re transparent. Anyway, I look forward to what’s in store. Let’s do this.
Andrea says
haha — lots of email updates, for sure 🙂
Thanks for making the switch!
Joan says
The confirmation email is asking for a password???
Annette Silveira says
The password is in the email. Keep reading
Sonya says
I just wanted to say good for you Andrea, this sounds like it will be a positive change for you!
I’ve been a long time subscriber and already on your email list (but will re-subscribe today.) I actually am at a point where I prefer content this way. The internet, social media can all be a bit much – I actually deactivated my Facebook account this year and don’t regret it one bit.
As usual, thanks for your transparency, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I think everyone who benefits from your content appreciates your authenticity, I know I do!
Andrea says
yay — thanks for the vote of confidence!
Julie spady says
I totally understand why you would want to do this. Social media looks so time confusing! I look forward to your changes. I’ve been following you for years and love you. I do agree, I’d love you to start a podcast!
Andrea says
Thanks Julie! So glad you subscribed!!
I’ll keep you posted on the podcast!
Kim Foster says
When I confirmed the email subscription, it took me to your site and requested a password. I don’t recall having a password. Can you help?
Andrea says
Thanks, Kim!! So glad you subscribed!
The password is in the confirmation email you received (right under the pink button)
Donna says
Taking care of yourself is essential. Now, ugh. Please post updated how to manage your emails next. There is so much noise in my inbox that I’m likely to miss your emails. I unsubscribe frequently, but there are many companies, charities, political sites that I want to hear from (discounts, news, etc), but I wish they posted one a month, not three a day.
Andrea says
oh boy — you definitely won’t get 3 emails a day from me 🙂
I’d suggest making folders in your inbox for the different types of emails and then set up filters to automatically send emails directly to those folders (bypassing the inbox). The emails will still show up “unread” so you’ll know if there is new content, but you won’t be staring at it all whenever you open your email.
Here’s a post I wrote a couple of years ago about creating filters for your email (I have MANY filters set up!)
JoAnn C. says
You’re setting a good example of self-care and self-awareness. Thanks, Andrea, I signed up!
Andrea says
Thank you! the first email should come out tomorrow 🙂
Barb says
Yes I agree
Annette Silveira says
This is awesome. I’m completely supportive of any decision any woman makes to make her life her own. You are setting a fantastic example for your kids.
Andrea says
thanks — this is so encouraging for me to read!
Stephanie says
You didn’t have to tell me twice-I’m a loyal reader and I signed up right away (which is saying something because I hesitate to join things, ha, ha!). Looking forward to the new direction you are taking!
Andrea says
thanks Stephanie — you’re the best!
Emily says
Good for you! As a mom of 6, I couldn’t agree more that you won’t ever look back on this precious time and wish you worked more. Thank you for sharing your prioritized, simplified and streamlined vision for your future. It’s inspiring!
Andrea says
thank you!
Paulette says
Kudos to you, Andrea, for following your heart! I’ve subscribed! You’re part of every weekday morning for me and I’ve been so encouraged, and learned so much from you, over the years. Glad I’ll be able to stay connected through email!
LoriB says
I’m very curious to see how this all pans out, Andrea. With more and more ads on the blog, I think I’ll like this a little better, but even with those ads I would continue to read your blog. Your common sense, no nonsense approach encourages me so much and is a fun way to start my day.
Andrea says
yup — add-free reading for you via email 🙂
Chris says
I signed up. Best wishes on your new direction. 🙂
Andrea says
thanks so much 🙂
Deb says
I was just at my son and daughter in laws, they just had their third, making 3 under 4 and I can’t believe you kept it up for this long. Good grief, I was exhausted when I got home, and I had three kids (but that was 20 years ago!)…
Are you going to post on specific days? I would hate to waste the 3 seconds to click on your blog to not have a new post! haha
Speaking as a Grandma, I applaud your decision. Time goes so fast……….
Andrea says
Thanks Deb — motherhood is definitely easier when you do it every day versus just once in a while. And yes, time goes fast!
Andrea says
Oh, and I realize I didn’t answer your question — I plan to post on the blogs on Mondays and Thursdays — maybe Tuesdays too. But I have more posts scheduled for the next couple of weeks 🙂
A T says
Just had to say, I love your blue top and floral skirt combo in the family photo. Really pretty! Now I think I need a chambray type shirt!
I am looking forward to your updates, Andrea. I love seeing and hearing about your children. Love seeing a larger family.
May God bless you!
Andrea says
Thanks so much! They were both thrift store purchases (on “dollar day” — so a cute $2 outfit!)
Kim says
I have a couple question. In the above post, there are three places where I can enter my name and email. Do I need to do all three?
Also, I think when I first found you, i subscribed but then after a while, I stopped getting your emails. So, for years now, I just go to your sight. I am concerned that the same will happen. Is there anything I should do, like putting you in my contact list?
Just to clarify, so I will know if I am successfully receiving everything, how many emails per week should I receive?
From a selfish point of view, I will miss your daily posts.
From a mature point of view, I know your life is busy, busy, busy and whatever is best for you and yours……………is what I want for you as well.
Excellent website that I have enjoyed for years!!!!
Andrea says
Hi Kim!
One subscription is enough — I just put the subscription box in the post multiple times to encourage those who skim 🙂
And yes, my old email subscription service is NOT going well (which is why I’m switching). You should be fine with the new one, but yes, if you wanted to add my email address to your contacts, that would be an extra precaution! (andrea@andreadekker.com)
If you got the confirmation email (and clicked the pink button) you should be all set — but moving forward, my intentions are to send out some sort of email every weekday. Sometimes they will be longer, sometimes it will just be a quick tip or a family picture. But you will most likely get something from me every weekday! 🙂
Karen M. says
Best wishes on all your changes! I know you will not mind devoting more quality time with your family! Time with them is precious and children grow up way too fast. I’m behind you with whatever you chose.
Andrea says
thank you so much, Karen!
Jolynn Van Wienen says
You will NEVER regret this decision, Andrea! Life gets busier in different ways as your kids get older. I know you’ll enjoy this season too.
Andrea says
I do enjoy it — it’s so fun now that there are not babies that need me every minute of the day! We can just hang out and all talk together or play a game and actually strategize to win! 🙂
Jen says
I totally understand your reasons, but selfishly I’m sad…in an effort to simplify my own life in 2020, I’ve unsubscribed to the majority of personal emails I get.
But I do look forward to reading the blog posts you do post!
Andrea says
bummer 🙁
I’ll still be around often enough on the blog! And who knows… maybe I’ll eventually convince you that my emails will help you simplify even more 😉
Carrie says
So hoping that you continue to post the blogging content on FB! I use my account strictly to follow a handful of blogs and sell items , it’s the easiest to access and all in one place , I find I don’t open emails nearly as quickly as click on a FB link. I agree about the constant changes working online, it’s just not as simple as it was 5-10 years ago, you will never regret more family time
Andrea says
Yes, I’ll still be on the blog AND social media… just not as much as I’ll be focusing most of my attention on my email subscribers for the next few months.
Thanks for your encouragement!
Karen Jerread says
What password do you want?
Donna says
I’m getting the password request when I’m requesting the emails. What do I do?
Andrea says
Hi Donna. The password is in the confirmation email you received 🙂
Andrea says
it’s in the confirmation email you got 🙂
Roxie says
Help! I’m trying to subscribe but it keeps asking for a password. I don’t have one set up!
Andrea says
got your email — I think we have it squared away now 🙂
Michelle Bonk says
Will definitely be following your emails. I’m not sure how you’ll be able to sustain an income sending out emails (but I know nothing about this space!) so I’m sure you have figured it out.
Change is good!
Andrea says
Thanks, Michelle!
There are so many different ways to bring in revenue online — I’m sure I will notice a decrease at first, but sometimes (as I’m sure you know) time is more valuable than money!
So I’m trying something new — I’ll give it a few months to a year and can always re-evaluate then!
In the meantime, I’ll hopefully enjoy a bit more time away from my computer!
Thanks again for your continued support and encouragement!
Shelley says
Time goes so quickly and our marriages/kids is time you will never get back. I will miss the frequency but you have my 100% support.
Andrea says
thank you so much Shelley!
Also, just to confirm, the “frequency” of content from me will be very similar (Monday-Friday) if you are subscribed to my email list. I just won’t be posting daily on the live blog. Hope that makes sense 🙂
