Last year, I featured a REALLY cool product on my blog — the DUO Binder. It’s basically a 3-ring binder and an accordion folder all in one, and Dave and I both use them for a variety of things in our business and personal lives.

Dave uses his binders for his planner, school work, and coaching. I use my binders to store and organize all our important papers, keep track of our various manuals, and corral some of Nora’s craft supplies.

So I’m sure you can imagine how excited I was when I received a package on my doorstep earlier this fall with the brand new TRIO Binders inside.

These binders are basically just as amazing as the DUO Binders — but they have the added functionality of pop-out hanging tabs that allow you to hang the entire binder in any letter-size filling cabinet. This might sound like a small detail, but if you use your binder to organize any documents you access on a regular basis, keeping them readily available in a filing cabinet is just so handy.

And since tax season is right around the corner (and since these binders would make an awesome Christmas gift) I thought it might be the perfect timing for a little TRIO Binder giveaway!!

    I am my father’s Legal Guardian as he resides in a Memory Care center. I would use this organizational system to get his personal and financial paperwork pared down and more organized.

    I am the Girl Scout cookie mom for my daughter’s Brownie troop PLUS the Daisy and Junior troops in the school. This binder would be perfect for keeping everything organized and in one place.

    I have never seen these before and I think they look awesome. I always have a stack of papers on my counter that are basically my ‘to do’ papers or coupons, etc. This would be a great way to file/organize my stacks.

    I tried to get these last time you talked about them and could not find them anywhere nearby. I looked at WalMart, Office Supply companies and online. I really would make good use of these as I organize our 2014 files. Could not find them for 2013 and when I looked online it was not easy to see the capabilities. I would love this item.

    I am the Treasurer for a local non-profit organization and would use this binder to organize receipts, taxes, and payroll information. Wow, what a great system…love it!

    I would use one for all of our manuals, personal paperwork, and any other important information so it is all together and easy to find. I would also use one for our daughter’s information and any other future kids information.

    I would be able to use this binder for all of our budget needs, lists and important papers all in one spot instead of all over the place. It would help me to declutter and would allow me to have 1 system.

    I set up my personal papers in the DUO notebook like you did. It would nice to be able to hang them in a file cabinet, since that’s currently where my book is located.

    I love giveaways!! This binder would come in SO handy for us. I am in the process of organizing all of our important “life” documents so that they are at our fingertips in the event something disastrous should happen.

I would use it to try and tame our massive amount of paper clutter, but first I would take it on our trip to the Great Smoky Moutains in January to help organize our itinerary and other papers!     I would use it for home decorating ideas, planning, mood boards, and for the info sheets I put together for each room that includes information about paint colors, flooring, fabric samples, etc.

    I would use it to organize all of our important documents such as: Wills, vehicle titles, birth certificates, social security cards, insurance policies, etc. That way all of these documents would be in one place in case I needed to grab & go.

    I would also use one to organize all of the important paper & information on our home. In this binder I would keep the water shut off location, the gas shut off location, the electrical panel location, the contact information for our homeowner’s insurance agent, the records for home maintenance, etc.

    I love this binder because I can already see how easy it would be to organize these important documents! I think these binders would make the perfect gift too!
