The school year is almost here for Dave (I know there are many schools who have already started) and one thing Dave and I don’t exactly love doing is packing lunches every single day.
However, this year, I’m a little more excited to pack lunches because (thanks to a fun giveaway I did last spring) we have an assortment of reusable AgainBags that we’ll be using in place of hundreds of plastic storage bags.
If you’d like to cut back on your consumption of plastic sandwich and snack bags {and have something FUN for packing lunches this year}, I have the perfect product for you!
AgainBags.com is a company that specializes in hand-made, reusable lunch and snack bags that are lead-free, phthalate-free, BPA-free, AND they come in fabulous colors and patterns…
They also have a brand new Active Wrap set that is absolutely perfect for lunches because the sandwich bag/wrap actually folds out into a “place mat” which I imagine would be nice for sticky, “germy” desks at school or at the office!
These bags are fantastic for sandwiches, wraps, fruits, veggies, cookies, bars, chips, pretzels, crackers, and pretty much any other food you want to carry with you.
I know I’m excited to use the AgainBags this year… and even more excited that they are offering two gift certificates as this weekend’s giveaway!
The Giveaway:
Today, two lucky readers will win a $25 AgainBags gift certificate, good on anything available on the AgainBags’ website.
Also, get 20% off your entire purchase of AgainBags with coupon code: Simple20

I typically take some kind of sandwich; however, I can not use name brand plastic storage bags, because I can taste the plastic on my food. I know that sounds very weird, but it’s true. Therefore, I always wrap my sandwiche in a store brand plastic wrap.

Leftovers are usually my next day’s lunch. I like to pack something crunchy for my afternoon snack…an apple or baby carrots and a lilttle dip to help me get over the afternnon lull.

I love packing lunches in “green” containers. This year I bought stainless steel containers and having some of these little pouches would be perfect for the little snacky items that i would still use snack bags for. Thanks for the opportunity to win some.

We pack snacks and sandwiches to avoid lunches in town and on trips. I’m thinking these would help with the littering issue in our vehicle as the children would be more apt to return these to the lunch box.
