We had family pictures taken a couple weeks ago and I got the digital rights to all the photos last week!

Although I already shared a couple of the full-family shots on the blog, I figured it might be fun to share a few more of the kids and different poses.

Secondhand Shopping Made Simple

For as long as I can remember, I have always hated shopping for clothes. All of that changed, however, when I stumbled upon thredUP soon after Nora was born.

Over the past 4 years, thredUP has become my top resource for clothing for my children AND for myself. I’m excited to share more about this today — and offer a fabulous discount to anyone who has yet to try thredUP!

Do You Know and Embrace Yourself?

posted by Andrea | 05/23/2016 | 25 comments

I realize how ridiculous it might sound to “know and embrace yourself”… however, by learning more about ourselves, and embracing who we are (instead of trying to be or become something we’re not) we can simplify our lives by taking so much “guesswork”, confusion, and frustration out of the equation.

Love It, Use It, or Lose It – My Own Guidelines for Purging

Here’s another peek into our week!

My Favorite Weed-Fighting Tips and Tools

posted by Andrea | 05/12/2016 | 24 comments

I’ve come to accept that a few weeds will ALWAYS be lurking in our planting beds; however, after 4 LONG summers of intense landscape renovations and lots and lots of weeding, Dave and I finally feel like we have a pretty decent system for dealing with the weeds we have AND preventing the majority of “weed seeds” from germinating.

Today, I’m sharing my favorite weed-fighting tips and tools!

Surviving and Thriving – it only took me 5 years!

Exactly 5 years ago today, Dave and I shared our surprise baby news with our parents — we had NO idea what we were getting ourselves into, especially with a fussy baby like Nora.

Now, a couple years and a couple babies later, I feel like I’m FINALLY finding my groove — you might even say we’re THRIVING instead of merely SURVIVING!

Baked Herbed Potato Wedges

This recipe for baked herbed potato wedges goes great with burgers, brats, grilled chicken, baked chicken, and more. They are perfectly crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside, and they have TONS of flavor without a lot of salt.

I have a feeling these potato wedges will show up frequently in my summer meal plans!
