A few weeks ago, I shared how I keep our car clean and organized. And after I published that post, I received several comments and emails suggesting that I add a first aid kit to our vehicles… especially now that we have a baby.
I figured that was probably some good advice, so I got creative and turned an old diaper wipes container and a bunch of our extra sample size products into first aid kits for both of our vehicles.
I write anywhere from 7-14 posts each week — both for my own blog, as a contributor for several other blogs… so I definitely need to have a “plan” in place to assure that I don’t duplicate topics, miss deadlines, or run out of things to say {although, I think Dave would tell you that’s impossible!}
And since a few of you have asked how I manage all these posts, I figured maybe I should share “my plan” with you!
I LOVE saving money on everything from groceries and gas to our vehicles and house — partially because it’s a game for me, but also because we pay for everything we purchase in full (besides our house) so in order to do home renovations, go on vacation, or buy a new vehicle, we need to save.

As some of you might already know, my most-favorite photo editing program (Picnik) closed it’s doors a couple weeks ago… which means I can no longer use it’s wonderful services to make fun collages and add cute numbers to Nora’s monthly onesie pictures.
So for the past couple months, I’ve been trying out different photo editing programs… and I’ve decided on my TWO favorites. Thanks to these two programs, I’ll be able to continue editing all my super cute Nora pictures!
I don’t think it’s a big secret that Nora has been quite a challenge for us these first few months! Despite our best and most diligent efforts to get her on any type of schedule or routine… she just won’t have it.
Things are definitely getting better now that she’s almost 6 months old; and looking back, it seems I might be learning more from my fussy babe than I thought.

Dave and I have always kept our small kitchen appliances hidden — even the ones we use regularly. We’ve never had a kitchen with lots of counter space, I really like the look of a clutter-free kitchen, and our cabinets definitely were not overly full; so we just decided to keep our small appliances concealed behind closed doors.
