When it comes to organizing projects — either big or small — there is one thing I (almost) always do every single time… I pull everything out.
Today, I’m explaining why!

Anyone who has read my blog for any amount of time knows my undying devotion to Meijer grocery stores… as well as the fact that I’ve never been a huge fan of Aldi grocery stores.
However, I finally decided to give Aldi a shot with a self-imposed one-month challenge to do as much of my grocery shopping at Aldi as I possibly could… today, I’m sharing the results!

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m most definitely NOT a minimalist in any area of my life — except maybe my schedule!
That said, when it comes to what I wear, I NEED to keep things simplified and streamlined, otherwise I struggle from decision fatigue and just end up wearing the same 3 or 4 things over and over and over again.
Today I’m giving another peek into my closet so you can see what a fairly large capsule wardrobe looks like for me!

Almost a FULL YEAR ago, I shared the first post in what I hoped would be a series of posts about all the simple home projects I do on a daily and weekly basis to keep my home neat enough, clean enough, organized enough, and efficient enough for my family and myself to enjoy spending the bulk of our time at home each day.
It was such a fun post to write and I was excited to write more… but then I didn’t write anything more… until today!

Although I know there are many benefits from actual exercise, I also realize that fitting 30-60 minutes of cardio or strength training into each day is completely unrealistic for many people… including myself!
I promise, I won’t pressure you to exercise daily… instead, I’ll simply encourage you to take a few minutes to MOVE MORE! I’m sharing several ways I move more in today’s post!

As I mentioned a couple weeks ago, zucchini noodles are FANTASTIC with any of your favorite store bought or homemade marinara, meat, Alfredo, pesto, or cheese sauces.
However, if you’re looking for another very simple, very basic recipe that is slightly different than most traditional pasta recipes, I’m sharing that today!

If I had to choose one word to sum up my thoughts on children and screens, it would simply be: “Moderation.” Shocking… I know!
If you’re looking for more information to help you evaluate the use of screens in your home, I’m sharing 3 simple guidlines that might bring more balance back to your own children’s screen usage.

If I had a nickel for every time someone asked me what label maker I use, or what label maker I would recommend… I would have A LOT of nickels!
And while I completely understand why I’m asked these questions, I have to admit that I do NOT use a label maker. Today, I’m sharing the 2 main reasons why…

Thanks to the fact that all 4 of our children are sleeping through the night on a fairly regular basis, I’ve enjoyed significantly more sleep than I have over the past 6+ years — and WOW has it make a world of difference for me!
After joking with Dave about how my whole quality of life feels exponentially better now that I’m sleeping so much more… I decided to share more on the blog today!

After over 7 years living in our farmhouse, we are FINALLY going to tackle one of the rooms I wanted to renovate many years ago — the bathroom off our kitchen. However, we still aren’t 100% sure what we want to do with this space.
So… since you have given us really great renovation ideas in the past, I’m bringing our bathroom quandary to the blog as one last “Hail Mary” effort to see if any of you have a super fantastic idea we haven’t thought of yet!
