For my entire life, I have struggled to find a one-piece swimsuit that was even somewhat comfortable… I’m sure there are many fellow long-torso gals out there who can relate!
I have tried on more one-piece suits over the past 3 years than I can possibly count, and not one has worked. I was starting to feel discouraged… until recently. I’m happy to share that I have FINALLY found not one, but TWO suits that fully cover my super-long torso! Bonus points that they are cute, comfortable, and extremely frugal!
One of the Christmas gifts we gave my parents was an empty box… and you know what, they LOVED it! That’s because the empty box was a “Legacybox”… which they could fill with all their old photos, VHS tapes, and other memories to be digitally preserved.
If you would love to digitally preserve your old memories but you just don’t have the time, energy, or tools, Legacybox might be your answer too!
Over the past year, I have gotten a surprising number of emails asking why we aren’t homeschooling Nora, suggesting that we should homeschool her, or asking if we would ever consider homeschooling our kids. I have gotten an equal number of emails that, for whatever reason, assume that we DO homeschool our kids.
So today, I’m sharing a few reasons why we don’t homeschool — and why we really have never considered it as an option for our family.
Before we had kids, Dave and I joked about the day when we would eventually drive a minivan… and now, almost 10 years later, that day has finally arrived!
Today, I’m sharing why we decided to make the switch to a minivan, as well as some of my favorite minivan features.
Last week, I shared a handful of baby items we had with Simon and James… but wished we would have had with Nora.
After writing that post, I started thinking more about the things we DID have with Nora that we have used over and over and over again with all 3 of our children… and I’m sharing a few of those today!
A recent conversation with a friend who is expecting her first baby sparked the idea for this post…
After having 3 children with VERY different personalities, all in different seasons of the year, and experiencing both genders, here are a handful of items I wish I would have had from the very beginning.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve talked about how much our family has enjoyed using Netflix… and many of you have asked about our favorite shows to watch.
So, since I’ve had a little extra time to watch Netflix these past few weeks, I thought it would be a perfect time to share some of our family’s favorite things to watch on Netflix.
You know I couldn’t celebrate a new baby without giving away something from Glamourmom… right?
Many of you know how much I love these tanks, tops, and other nursing and maternity items. And after 4 years of constant wear, I can attest to the fact that the Glamourmom clothes REALLY hold up… which is why I’m so excited to share them with you again today!
I’m often asked if there are certain things that helped me to simplify and organize my life with 2 small children around. And while I don’t usually like to advocate for buying more STUFF, there are a handful of things that immediately come to mind when I’m asked these questions.
Today I’m sharing my “list”… and I’d love to know what STUFF would make your list!
I’m so excited about today’s giveaway — partially because I know how much this bag has helped me to simplify and organize getting out and about with 2 little kids (something that is otherwise VERY stressful for me). But also because the PacaPod bags are WAY more than “just” diaper bags.
They are stylish everyday bags that work for anyone in any season of life for almost any on-the-go destination!
Our brand new double stroller was delivered just over a month ago — yes, you read that right — BRAND NEW!
Aside from diapers, wipes, and other “perishable” items, I think this double stroller was the very first baby thing I’ve ever personally purchased brand new — and today, I’m sharing a bunch of reasons why we’re loving our new stroller!
Exactly one year ago today, this tired, stressed-out mama and her overly-anxious little girl walked through the doors of our second round of food therapy (after the first round failed miserably).
I honestly can’t believe how far we’ve come in just one year… and I hope this post will offer some encouragement to anyone else struggling with high needs children.
I’ve shared Nora’s love of shoes before… I don’t know where she gets it from, but she LOVES her shoes!
Today, I’m sharing our new shoes and giving away a couple pairs of pediped shoes.
One of my “to-do’s” before Simon was born was to finalize all the information for our Living Trust. I breathed a sigh of relief when we signed the final papers knowing that all our “ducks” were in a row just in case anything happened to Dave and I.
Today, I’m sharing a bit more about our Life Insurance and our Living Trust — and why we made the decisions we did.
My “gift to myself” after Nora was born was a brand new set of comfy pajamas (such a good idea)!
I’m doing the same thing with baby #2 and I’m excited to share the super soft, super comfy line of P.J. Salvage pajamas with you today!
When we found out we were expecting baby #2, everyone told me we needed a gift for Nora from her new brother… and thanks to the Precious Little Tot Etsy shop, we now have that gift!
It’s an adorable plush elephant — and it’s so stinkin’ cute that we decided to give one away too!
After a whole month off for rest and relaxation (and catching up on a bunch of projects), I have a few more “favorite things” to share with you for September!!
Today’s post is a little heavy for a summer weekend, but a recent Sunday sermon (along with a few emails and previous blog posts) got me thinking about an idea for another blog post… today, I’m sharing the thoughts and words that transpired!
I’m climbing up on my soapbox today to share some thoughts I’ve had since before Nora was born — but I’m just finally getting the guts to talk about them on the blog!
Come read, think, and respond (kindly please)… I’d love to hear your thoughts too.
